...I just felt like drawing Shadow with an assault rifle, I'm not sure about who's he aiming at, though.This is the second work that was lined by the SAI paint tool, the result is very nice with this style too, in my opinion.

It's also because it's Shadow the Hedgehog, and it's a dark picture. Those are quite the two keys of 'cool' Sonic fan arts, in my opinion. XD

This is a lovely take on the character and capturing the darker side through this design. The whole take of the Shadow is good and the approach taken in colouring is perhaps one of the strongest areas. The way Shadow presents himself with the rifle is good and while it might have been nice to see the design not so close would might have been something to see else within the setting to distquinish more of story telling.
Colour is nice and definitely a strong point in your skills, but the soft highlights and shading could need something else along side. The idea of having some hard brush work to allow some areas to allow some separation in the tones and to give the presentation a more defined edge would be nice to see next time. Working also more with the background along side to give more in the presentation is a thought as well.
Overall though you've shown some potentials so please keep it up.
