Very nice use of the grainy textures and minimal black blocks. The birds against the sky are powerful with their extremely high contrast, and the lower image is vague and suggesting. It appears to be taken in a vehicle as the responder looks at her reflection in a pensive reminiscence. Perhaps this is her town, perhaps she is caught in wartime, perhaps she is entering a new place? The general feel of this image is very powerful and stolen; by that I mean the bold, black shapes seem like their forms were cut out to leave emptiness. Very intriguing work!
