Description
Though Quetzal, alongside her friend Abigail, has made it safely through most of the destruction in Tiyan market, the sights and smells of everything has jogged loose a memory Quetzal had done her best to forget. The trauma of finding her village destroyed, people slain and lying in congealing pools of blood, and now unable to reconcile with her grandfather, this has left an indelible mark on Quetzal's psyche.

But at least this time she is not alone.

Much later, after the chaos has truly been taken care of in Tiyan market, there will be more than a few people who attempt to accuse Quetzal of assaulting them during the madness. Make no mistake, Quetzal only did so to defend Abigail while they fled into Abigail's store and barricaded themselves within, to the detriment of Quetzal's own wares. This of course leads to her being questioned by authorities, but hopefully after she's calmed down a bit.

There may be a continuation later on, but it will take place after the aftermath of the riots.

I kinda got emotional when sketching this out, not gonna lie. I'd forgotten that PTSD was a thing, and that realistically, Quetzal wouldn't have gotten over the trauma of finding her home village destroyed so easily, even if it has been a year or two since her arrival in Sybal Heim.

This was a big experiment in how to actually make a comic from start to finish, which includes a lot of things that I currently struggle with. There's definitely certain things I'll do differently the next time I attempt to make a comic, so at least it was a good learning experience.
