I know I did one of these years ago... but after some thought I decided to do a longer list with some more variety. Spoilers, I guess.

15. Bender into a Werecar (Futurama)

14, Ash into Pikachu (Pokemon)
-So Ash and friends help a self-proclaimed witch gather ingrediennts for a potion to help a person understand Pokemon. It works... but with some unexpected side effects. Sadly, Ash changes back into human form the very next episode. What a waste of a neat idea!

13. Sonic into Dark Super Sonic (Sonic X)
-Basically, what happens when Sonic is pushed too far and with Chaos Emeralds nearby... I don't think this was ever brought up again, which feels like yet another waste. (Unless it was in the original version?)

12. Terry into Man-Bat (Batman Beyond)

11. Spider-man into Man-Spider (Ultimate Spider-Man)
Now, the idea of a "Man-Spider" originally popped up in the 90's Spider-Man cartoon, and while I prefer the design there, this transformation is better in how it's executed here. Thanks to the poison of the Savage Lands, Spidey goes through a rather unpleasant-looking transformation sequence, complete with extra limbs ripping out of his sides. Ouch... In an instant, he's turned into a feral monster that even goes and takes on a T-Rex and wins! Damn Spidey!

10. Ben into Benwolf (Ben 10)

9. Takuya into Flamon (Digimon Frontier)
This one's kinda complicated, so let me sum it up: after his plans to fight the evil Duskmon goes south, Takuya (our goggle-headed leader for the season) gets so despondent he hops the nearest Trailmon and heads for home... despite not knowing where the others ended up. Way to be a team leader Takuya. But remember in season 1 how time flowed differently between the Real and Digital Worlds? Apparently the same goes for this season, seeing as how thanks to a bit of wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey... stuff, Takuya is transformed... somehow.... into Flamemon, the sorta-kinda-Rookie level of Agunimon (And I admit, I love Flamemon's design. He's just so cute!). Needless to say, the poor kid is scared and confused until he finally decides to nut up and accept his responsibilities and go back to the Digital World. It's a bit of an offbeat episode, but Takuya's character development (and a bit of foreshadowing) make it a good watch.

8. Dexter and DeeDee into Kaiju (Dexter's Laboratory)

7. Jack into a Half-Aku Monster (Samurai Jack)

6. Chiro into a Monkey Creature (Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go)
-Anyone remenber this show? That 2nd season finale was a real sucker punch, especially with how it ended...

5. Ty Parsec into the Wirewolf (Buzz Lightyear of Star Command)
-You'd think something from Disney would be light-hearted and cheerful, but no, time and again, they've shown themselves capable of traumatizing young and old alike. And this show is no exception. The evil robot vampire NOS-4-ATU (ha!) is terrorizing the planet Canis Lunus (yeah... you can see where this is going), eventually he ends up biting hapless space Ranger Ty Parsec, which causes him to turn into a creature known as a Wirewolf (from a robot vampire bite... go figure). The transformation itself is pretty gruesome, starting with wires sprouting from the wound in a manner that looks absolutely painful. Seriously, the process of turning from flesh and blood to metal cannot be pleasant... And then mere moments later, he practically mauls a helpless robot on screen in a manner that makes it easy for the viewer to mentally replace the wrecked remains with an actual corpse... By the way, you're welcome.

4. Danny Phantom into Dark Danny (Danny Phantom)
-Talk about "WTF"-levels of messed up, this episode/special/whatever features an evil future of Danny coming to the present to wreck havoc. And it's even worse when we find out how Dan Phantom came to be: After loosing his friends and loved ones to an explosion, Danny went to Vlad Plasmius, looking to have his emotions removed and feel no more pain... What could possibly go wrong? How about EVERYTHING?! Danny's ghost half, once removed, returns the favor to Vlad, fuses with his ghost half, creating a super-powerful, super-evil ghost who is strongly implied, if not outright stated to have killed his human half before going on to ravage the world. Holy shit. Even worse, the end of the episode implies he's still around... too bad he never showed up again. Seriously, what the hell, writers?!

3. Steven Universe into Stevenzilla (Steven Universe Future)
-Man, this season was rough on poor Steven. Watching him go from a happy-go-lucky kid to a troubled young adult surprisingly hurt... it didn't help that he kept bottling up all his emotions until it exploded.

2. Transmetal Cheetor into Transmetal II Cheetor (Beast Wars)

1. Wilfred Wolf into... Sexy Wilfred Wolf (Animaniacs)
-...Okay, I admit it, I have some furry leanings, but I prefer to think of myself as one of the sane ones (friggin' nutters ruining everything...). That fact may be why I love this one so much, so I'm admittedly biased. So there's this nebbish wolf named Wilford, who (like many others) has fallen head over heels in love with the beautiful Minerva Mink, despite the one-sided attraction. However, it turns out, that Wilford is a Werewolf, but instead of a wolf turning into a man, he turns into... a sexy hunk of manwolf. (Don't judge me!) So now the role are reversed, with Minerva drooling over the hotness... at least when the moon is out anyway. But when the night is over and Wilford's true self is revealed... Minerva asks when the next full moon is, intending to wait out a month to see the hot wolf again. Some may call this shallow, but hey, at least they have time to get to know each other better, right?

So that's my list of favorite transformations, which should give you a better idea of what I'm into... yeah.
