If there was no time, there would be no change
Yet we have it, and all things become arranged.
It nevers goes as fast or slow you want to go,
But for what it's worth, you don't want it recovered at all.
Sometimes we believe it to be "lost" through a certain event,
But it changes you gradually, in ways you never really meant.
From happy little kids, with bikes and dolls,
We become dull adults, acting like savage trolls.
Or perhaps a companion, a boyfriend or girl,
Giving many gifts from a ring to a pearl.
But all this always takes time to prepare,
Then to the world, you have to share.
Share your experience, for at least one to witness,
Ranging from unexplainable joy to a distinct bitterness.
But all things come to mind, to yours and to mine,
That all of this takes... Time...
