Love is like a flower,It starts out small, and then it grows,
Showing things one bit at a time.
Then it opens up, showing all the beauty
From inside to out. But if it is broken somehow,
It would close up, shutting itself from the world
Never to reveal that very beauty ever again.
Sure, it may grow back again. It may.
But it will never be as bright as it was before.

You have a real talent for expressing not just one emotion or instance, but a whole phenomenon, the suit army, the candy nostalgia, and the flower metaphor. all very insightful and personable without being so simply written that they lose the quality of beautiful language. It's easy to write about how it feels to get your heart broken, but much more difficult to express it with just as much emotion in a metaphor, that people can still relate to.
