Description I had a dream. A vision. Call it what you will. It became manifested in my mind after 'Moonlight Sonata' replayed in my mind. Such vivid reality yet an out-of-this-world dream at the same time.

The speakers quietly played the sonata across the floor of the courtyard. A brick-laden setting with dark and light shaded blocks forming together a picture of a rose at a far glance. It was lit by lamp-posts placed amongst the outer rim of the dance floor and was as bright as day could be shown in a cloak of night. The night skies had its stars scattered across the entire space as far as one's eye could depict.
I stood in the middle of the courtyard, awaiting. Taking in the faint sounds with each and every note absorbed by my ears, my heart and my mind. Dressed in a black long coat with fine blue trimmings and a symbol of a white lion embroidered on the top of the left sleeve. On the inside was a white shirt layered by a very dark blue waistcoat and a silver brooch of a lion emblem attached to the collar. The final touch was the black pants which flowed like there wasn't any legs in them yet they moved as I wanted to, along with the boots that look more of something from the noble hierachy ages.
Awaiting for someone. Anyone. The first person to walk along the floor to dance with me. Although the world was filled with people, in the middle it seemed like I was the only one that was standing inside. No one person made themselves apparent to my gaze. They all just kept dancing along... without me.
Until I saw her. She was sitting on the outskirts of the courtyard. A quaint little girl, with a fine dress. A daintily white dress that kept her body quite refined and hidden from the rest of the world. Smooth and shiny like liquid silver covered in a thin layer of snow to show the glimmer and gloss. The trims on the edges of her dress had white roses holding together the crucial points of the dress to make her beauty become more accentuated. And the embroidered snowflakes along the body showed uniqueness amongst all else - not one of them was the same as each other. She truly caught my gaze, my heart and my mind.
I walk up to her and kindly asked her for a dance to this sonata. At first her head looked blindly at the floor as to hide her shy nature. Her hands trembled as she held mine in a loose grasp. It took her a few moments to compose herself but in the end she nodded and whispered 'yes' to my offer. Her dress slowly flew across to the middle of the floor along with the bottom of my black long coat. The shy nature that she wore dropped off as soon as she moved from her seat.
I held her body as we reached our spot, with my left hand along the small of her back and my right holding her left hand. A waltz was appropriate for such a sound being played in the night. As the rhythm moved in my feet started to move her own feet, then our bodies moved in unison with such movement, then everything just took shape with the notes and tempo of the sonata. The lights started to blur even with such a slow moving tune as we moved around the room and moved the room in its entirety. It was not just the lights that blurred, everything else started to melt their colours into one puddle of a rainbow. I closed my eyes to avert my gaze from this phenomenon but it also affected my visual image of everything I tried to envision before the blur. It kept with this until the music came to a slowing halt and end. All of it faded to black, as my eyelids shut out the light of the courtyard.
I opened my eyes and everyone has left the courtyard. The floor was silent, still and only the lights on the outer rim remained. It was completely voided of every person in the courtyard prior. I tried to remember who I was dancing with as she had left quite the impression in my eyes, heart and mind. All I could remember was the dress she wore, which was white as snow and glimmering above else. I couldn't remember her face or anything else about her. Just the dress.
The thought of it all drained everything out of me and made me remain motionless on the dance floor. Ever waiting with eyes closed until the sound of the sonata and the countless people return to dance again without fail.
