Rawr, this commission was perhaps the most troublesome piece of art I've ever done.. betcha can't guess why I had to redraw and ink this thing two and a half times..

hint: Had nothing to do with the keyblades.

answer: Sora's face gave. me. hell. It's my fault for not paying attention to just how badly i screwed up on the first sketch, though. XD

The keyblades were tricky though, especially with the choices I was given XD. Kingdom key = easy. Finding a good reference for KH2 Ultima Weapon at the time? Not easy, but KH1 Ultima weapon had plenty, so that's why I drew that version.
Follow the Wind and Hero's Crest though? Same issues.. I couldn't find a ref for FtW, so I used to game to try and nail the details.. now that the Wisdom Sora figure is out, I see it's not 100% accurate, but oh well XD. Hero's Crest is based off the KH2 version. I tried to draw it from the game as well (easier said than done, let me tell you) but just ended up looking at my Final Form Sora.

The trouble was worth it though. I'm most happy with how it turned out ^__^
