Description
I'm creating a map of a world where an advanced Steampunk culture existed before some apocalypse overtook it, and the resulting post-apocalyptic world has Steampunk mecha! To transport the mecha requires a mech transport. To haul such massive machines of war over rough terrain requires a vehicle purpose-built for the task. Not only that but it is required to withstand the rigors of traversing the trackless wilderness, bandit raids, forging bodies of water, climbing and descending significant inclines, effect self-recovery, etc.

This work in progress drawing is the tractor, it houses the primary steam reactor as well as a smaller backup reactor and despite its size there is only room for 4-5 full-time crew members. The wheels are 3 meters tall and are linked in pair sets via a timing bar, steering is accomplished via alternating direction and speeds of wheels sets (similar to the steering of a bulldozer or any other tracked vehicle).
