Description

Right after finishing the last one, I started work on yet another draw-this-in-your-style prompt I saw on Twitter, this time from MykeGreywolf (twitter.com/Myke_Greywolf/stat… ). Except, this time, instead of using it as an excuse for free art of his OCs, he challenged us to redraw one of his old pics of BNA's Michiru Kagemori:

And I was like: not only is MykeGreywolf another of my favorite artists here, but the original pic is among my favorite works of his, so heck yeah I'm in! Besides, I could always use more experience drawing furries.

Work-wise, I felt the lines in my last DTIYS pic were too thick, so I made sure to lighten them here and moving forward. I also used the actual highlight colors for rim lighting instead of erasing the shadows, which I feel made those areas pop a little bit more. Both changes are ones that I plan to keep in my workflow moving forward.
