Description
I go to a Mandarin Chinese club after school. Unfortunately, the girl who runs it hardly ever comes / is ready, so I’ve only had a couple of lessons when I’ve actually LEARNED something… On the plus side, last week or so the teacher of that room put up some Chinese paper-cuttings on the wall in the corner. One of them was a series of acrobat acts, so naturally it caught my attention. I promptly sketched it and drew a chibi version.

Coloring this on the computer took the LONGEST time because of the way I did the lineart, perfecting it so much… I started to get worn out by the end and became a little sloppy compared to at the start. The end result was still good though, considering how much I downsized the scan.

Here’s what the Chinese text says (it’s translated on the art as well). DISCLAMER: I do not know enough Chinese to get all this right. If you do and would like to point out any errors, please do so.
Chinese acrobatics: 中國雜技 (Zhongguo zaji)
Hand balance: 手平衡 (Shou pingheng)
Umbrella juggle: 傘雜耍 (San zashua)
Rola Bola: 晃板 (Huangban)
Diabolo: 空竹 (Kongzhu)
Vase balance: 瓶平衡 (Ping pingheng)
Plate spin: 碟旋轉 (Die xuanzhuan)
