Description
Spectral Earth.  A world where winged beasts soar the skies, nocturnal and bloodthirsty creatures lurk in the shadows, ravenous and wolf-like monsters roam the vast wilderness, and the children of God – Angels and Demons – reign supreme.  It is in this world where the energy of the soul, Spectra, can be seen and controlled at will.  Those who can fully harness this energy, and attune it to one of the elements of the world are known as Spectra Users.  But with such power at hand, the inhabitants of this world have learned to use Spectra against each other in the pursuit of conquest.  For in this world war runs rapid through the land, pitting the races against one another in a bitter and brutal battle for both domination and freedom.
For centuries, The Great Holy War – the seemingly endless battle between the pursuers of Virtue and the bringers of Sin – has brought nothing but chaos to this world.  But in the shadow of this war is but another battle.  The Human-Thongire War has pitted two of the seven great races against one another for world domination; the valiant Humans on one side to seek salvation from the Thongire lord, who thrives for global rule in order to bring about a new utopia for his children of the night.  But in the wake of both of these wars is but a greater battle of epic proportions; one that has been fought since the beginning of time, and involves the downfall of the grandest of all rulers, God.
Michael Angel, the reincarnated Grim Reaper – an enigmatic entity gifted with the power to end all war, including the colossal war between the Gods – is a Death User searching for his destiny in this new world.  Reia Monten, a proud warrior of the Lyosal race – an Angel and Human half-breed – is a Thunder User seeking revenge on the infamous Demon, known only as Death, who slaughtered her kind and disappeared without a trace.  These two Spectra Users share the same goal: to find and obtain The Keys to the Gates of Heaven and Hell.  One searches for The Keys in the hopes of learning the truth behind his deadly power; the other searches in the hopes to come across her enemy.
The two join forces to travel Spectral Earth in search of the four mystic keys spread throughout the continents, while settling their differences along the way.  Together, they meet interesting allies, powerful foes, and dubious faces along the way, all the while, getting caught up in a valiant effort to save their world from complete destruction.  Can they stand tall against the forces of demonic cults, hordes of undead, tyrannous lords, titanic giants, and Demons strong enough to destroy God?  Or will their world fall into chaos and inevitably be erased from existence?
The battleground is Spectral Earth.  The stakes?  Life or Death.
