i tried out raycast since it seems like everyone likes it, and i have to agree tbh its a really nice shader - i love the controls toolike, im a big fan of cell-shaded 3D stuff (if u couldnt tell), but this feels more... like it has more depth ? its not even like "oooh look it adds texture to stuff!!"
it just looks softer, and i must say the dramatic shadows it can produce are right up my alley
its definitely a shader i want to use again, thats for sure
