After much practice, I think I've finally developed a certain style I like using. Here is an example of it, with different poses and facial expressions.I have much more work to do, but I'm glad to be improving!
Created in my sketchbook, details enhanced with Corel PaintShop Photo Pro. I'll move this back to scraps soon.

P.S. Sorry about the shading, the faces weren't supposed to look that dark, just ending up that way as I was editing it.
