Sometimes more detail makes it easier to colour. It makes you switch up more so you don't get bored.

hehe sometimes heh ebut not always.
Doing repetitive details like chains gets me seriously annoyed. Chains, excessive hair, snakes, whips and too much mail armor. Those can make me pissed off when i'm coloring if there's too much of it.
