Description
As the match reaches its halfway point, fatigue and exhaustion hits the two warriors like a boulder. They move towards one another with no vigor, instead shambling about like old men. It becomes abundantly clear that they burned themselves out too quickly as no single punch forces the other back. Fenn tries to forcefully push towards Kaye with a combination, but it’s sluggish enough that Kaye catches his arm. Kaye proceeds to pull Fenn in for a clinch.

Instead of trying to wrestle free, Fenn grabs onto the hare tightly. It becomes obvious that Fenn was pushed too far past his limits as he tries to rest. Kaye feeling much of the same exhaustion, does the same for a moment. This shared cease fire was inevitably broken as Fenn frees up an arm and starts to hammer Kaye’s abs. The hare starts to spew spit and blood as he makes a few swings at Fenn’s swollen head.

Their clinch soon devolves into a contest of endurance as the bruising gets worse. Fenn manages to muster enough strength to force Kaye to the ropes, as he continues to beat into the hare’s gut. Kaye begins to focus on the less bruised side of Fenn’s head, but the stubborn mouse was too determined to hold on and destroy his opponent’s torso. The hare soon panics from the pain and tries to toss the rodent off of him. He succeeds as Fenn hits the floor, but the mouse stumbles back to his feet determined to continue where he left off.

Fortunately for Kaye the round ends, as he starts to cough out a bit more blood. Fenn only staggers away a touch more lightheaded, but still insistent on claiming victory…
