I did up this little tutorial to help out a friend, since he was having trouble drawing ear fins and wanted to learn how. I also included an optional bit in step #1, showing my trick for drawing that boxy muzzle shape that dragons sometimes have, so it should help you if you're drawing a dragon and want to give it that snout type.

While this was made for ear fins in particular, it will work for any other small fin that's the same general shape as the ear. I'm also going to do a tutorial for making long 'ridges' of fins (such as on certain fish) that this particular one doesn't help with.
