a different majora gajinka, wherein i didn't go with the dragon backstory and twisted it into some post-game whimsy

wherein they're twins that were at first terminian forest spirits, then minor twin deities (mostly worshiped by ikanians) that would grant wishes for offerings (but if the offering wasn't good enough they'd play a trick on or curse you instead), that became spiteful and petty when the goddess of time was introduced to the people of termina. she stole their followers inadvertently and they acted out to a degree that threatened the existence of the land, which led to their being sealed away in a mask courtesy of the fierce deity.

but since they were sealed away inside of one singular mask they end up melting into one eldritch beastie as the eons pass by, losing all sense of separate selfhood
