Apparently I deleted the original out of my gallery a long time ago. I don't remember doing that, but either I'm blind or I can't find it. At any rate, I wanted to update it with a new/fixed version (lately, my one of my friends has called me George Lucas... not sure how I feel about that). It had so many problems, still does, but I wanted to make it at least fairly a touch better.Retouching these older pieces has been a fun/nice break in between commission work for people. it's also just fun to play with the older pieces!

Amazing work, I love both works. I think this version is a bit better because of the coloring and depth. Although I think Alucard's face may be more in between both of the expressions you used. But hey, I'm a Hellsing fan, not an artist

I thought you had deleted all your Hellsing art because you had decided you didn't want to make any more/ share it any more. I'm glad to see that I was wrong. Excellent piece! I especially like Integral's expression (what a very Hirano-esque expression) and the light on Alucard's hair.

I might have deleted this one because I hated their faces so much... I honestly can't remember why I deleted it... maybe it was an accident when I deleted another? D: Who knows! I certainly don't lol
but no, I still like the original anime and everything pre-vol 7 (felt like it jumped some sharks there at the end... like... a lot of them lol) and I still love Integra

Awesome piece of Hellsing fanart. I love the lighting and the angle of the shot here, and especially Alucard's design and expression. Brilliant use of colours and tones. Kudos!

This one is so much creepier, wonderful job
my only critique is that Integra's face is a little less young in this one, the innocence with the pointer chin would work a little bit better....great touch-up though!

This looks way better then the original! The contrast is much brighter, giving a much deeper perspective to the subjects. Alucard's demons are also much more noticeable in this version, then in the first. Overall, the entire image has better quality, richer environment, depth of detail, and a darker feel.

1. This is a good picture. I like the juxtaposition elements.
2. This also reminds me of the first thing I ever drew that actually looked like I knew the word 'anatomy'; the pose on the girl was the same. I gave her short brown hair and put her in a nightgown, and she inspired one of the characters in one of my first original stories.

I'll probably always love the older one, I had it as my desktop wallpaper for almost a year me thinks. But the new version has it's good parts as well. The hair is great, and the hell!dogs (or w/e they're called, I can't remember, it's been soooo long) look crazily evil and deadly.

Wow, I didn't even realize you changed it until I saw the side-by-side. The new one is awesome! I guess I forgot how much your style has evolved; the old one is so anime. I like how you de-bishounified Alucard, and Intregra's face has so much more depth to it. The only funny thing is how her chin and neck connect (it seems like the dividing line is too dark considering the bottom-light).
The comparison is hilarious, but George Lucas only makes his films worse when he changes them!

Wow, I can definitely see a vast improvement between the two pieces. It's so cool that you're going through your gallery and doing this. I usually just purge every once in a while by scrapping stuff. I really should redo some old stuff and get them back in my gallery too...
