Description
I've been drawling the centerpeice for as long as I can remember. I dunno when I started, or where it came from, hence the name: Forever. The background is a design style I've been doing (and refining) for the past 5 years.Also, this may end up being my first tattoo, just gotta find someone who can do it very, very well.

I like it. It's odd because it has no symmetrical sides, yet is still well balanced. I'm not sure I would like it as a tattoo, but it's a good symbol thing.

My 300th comment, and it goes to you, Love this piece, I like the look of tribal tattoo's but i'd say this one almost goes a step beyone, great stuff, very artistic, I love the different shades of grey and black, not sure they can do that with tattooing can they?

I really like the elegant shape and form, and you managed to lay it all out, splice them together... and made the centre really stand out and sort of extend its tendrils.... it's very very ... exquisite in a way....

Agree on the advice about not making this on the arm (for a tatoo). It would look pretty wicked on your shoulder though.
I like the drawing, and I'd like to see you do some more like it. Not enough people do black and white and grayscale work, and this is a good example of why it's so cool.
Something else I think would be interesting, is to see something like this with a transparent background and smaller, for use in interfaces.
Some icons in this style would be nice, but obviously that kind of thing is a lot of work. I spent the better part of a day converting a large image into a small one, and keeping it looking close enough to give it the same name!
Great work though, I want to go see how well it comes out on a black and white laser printer.

Yeah man.. looks like that line technique worked out just fine. Very interesting and clean tribal design. This would be a nice tattoo as it's not only "your" peice but also the type of design you'd probably not regret having years down the road. One suggestion (from a cat who has WAY too many tattoos allready), be carefull on the placement. Something like this wrapped around your arm might not look as good as on your back or other spots.

-This is my first upload to DeviantArt.
-Sorry about the high res, but it was originally 2048x1536, for detail. So I figured halving it would be fine to keep detail, and it's only a greyscale image, pretty small anyway.
-Yea, the same thing is in my little 50x50 image. It's kinda like my own personal symbol, heh.
