Description
Next time you're outside, stand still for a moment and look at your surroundings. Watch the cars and people move about. Look at the insects crawling along the ground. Look up to see the birds migrating south towards warmer weather. Watch the leaves fall off the nearby trees. At any given time, there's so much that we are unaware of. Photography allows us to stop time and reflect on whats going on in the moment. For a moment in time, this leaf is not falling but standing still in space for everyone to look at and reflect on wither you were there when the leaf fell or hundreds or thousands of miles away.
There's my anecdote for the day/month/year. I've always wanted to take a picture of a leaf falling to the ground. Sure you can take pictures of an animal pouncing on it's prey or an airplane blasting off into the sky but capturing the pure essence of gravity, nothing but the atmosphere and the wind to hinder the leafs fall to earth, that's pretty sweet.
