Wonderful work Derek, itΒ΄s enchanting and magical, with the moonlight and the castle in bg, love the bats and the fireflies. The blue colourtones looks amazing, very lovely and romantic work. She sure have the most wonderful and peaceful time sitting there dreaming..Good luck in the contest..

but don't you think the light hits too harsh on her legs and not on her face.
I know you always take critique in consideration and it ends up with you editing anything possible, but you should really think before doing anything to this one. It's beautiful the way it is.

As always thank you for your critique. I checked the values and the brightness is very similar on the face and legs, I didn't want to introduce harsh shadows on her face as it doesn't look good particularly when you subject is small so I think in this case I'll leave it as it is!

The face is supposed to be like a main feature of the character, so it must be clear.
