Amir Sen, Asuraborn Psion.

A political activist in Rhasmapatra fighting for equality between Asuraborn and Devaborn, he became the victim of his nation's prejudices, when his love for a Devaborn resulted in her death. He now runs from those who find him responsible and those who see him a traitor to his kind, all the while trying to keep the darkness in his heart from turning him into a Rakshasa.

Amir is a competent staff-wielder and an even better telepath, using powerful mind-controlling abilities to control the battlefield for his comrades to exploit.
