The story below was done by me.
It was many of years ago, when I was still roaming the icy mountains that I had my territory. A vast area that I had claimed to myself and protected.
The days came and went as I lived there, flying through the skies, resting on the mountain tops and looking over the lands.
I had no problems with the people living in my territory apart from other dragons. Defending it from those who tried to take the spot I claimed from me.
Some stronger then others but I had always came out as the victory but I was never cruel, those I defeated were chased away once they had recovered from the fight.
As you can tell, I was already dignified to live and let be. However, there came a day were a dragon came into my territory that changed everything.
It was a quiet cloudy day when I heard the roar of the trespasser. I flew out to meet them and chase them away. At first, from seeing their color of scales, I thought it was a regular red dragon and being a ice dragon myself, thought it would be easy, seeing as they are more vulnerable to the cold.
In the covers of the clouds, I silently moved a bit behind them, a tactic I had used many a times. I called out them to leave my territory and no harm would be done to them if they did.
They laughed at me, saying they had no intention to leave before turning around and shooting a fireball at me. This was typical of the more arrogant dragons I met.
Dodging their attack, I returned in kind, blasting a ray of cold them them wich they avoided as wel. The battle was mostly in my favor, the cold helping my attacks to be stronger and his more weak, as wel as the clouds giving me cover, diving in and out of them. Ofcourse, he adapted to my tactics but I still had the upper hand, getting good hits on his body but avoided his wings, thinking he would be smart enough to give up and leave as his flames had less effect on me.
As he seemed to falter to me attacks, covered in patches of thick ice on his body, he stopped mid flight, laughing loud with a grin "Hahaha, This was an amusing fight" he said loudly as the ice cracked and broke off his body as he seemed to swell a bit in size. I felt a sudder go through my body as the dragon started to grow in size and the air warming up. He grew rapidly before my eyes to a true monsterous size. I felt small before him as he grew to the size of a small mountain and the air grew hot "W-who..what...are you?" I asked shaking a bit, moving back away from him, clearly outmatched. "Helhardt, now welp, let me teach you what the power of a true primordial dragon is" he laughed as the air grew even hotter.
The heat was intense as he shot a fireball the size of a huge boulder at me. Snapping out of it, I just managed to dodge it, watching it crash in the nearby mountain and melting the snow away, leaving it red hot. I fled, I had no choice, this wasn't someone I could defeat, let alone a primordial dragon with such tremendous power. While thinking he would leave me alone as I flew away from him, he didn't, he followed me easily. With each flap of his wings, he got closer and closer, laughing loudly, calling out to me "Oh, don't think I'm done with you" he roared before shooting another ball of fire, bigger then before. I let myself drop, falling down towards the surface below to avoid his attack. While I did, what came next was a painful experience I would never forget.
His large claws grabbed me, easily wrapping around my body. Even though I struggled, I didn't help, he was to strong. Flying high up, he threw me away from him before his tail rammed into me, knocking the air from my lungs. I roared out in pain as my body crashed through a couple of trees before I hit the ground below. Before I even had time to get up, I watched as he unleashed a wave of fire that engolved the forest and myself.
To be continued.
