Description
characters from yukito kishiro's gunnm (battle angel in us). Specifically based on the last image in the series, except I wanted to play with the angle and make it look more crucial, but all in all, I think I've failed. Haven't done much in Devart since I joined tho.. so hehe. re-establishing my presence, I guess.conceptualized on paper, realized through photoshop.

i asked myself too what may happen after she gets back her human body after her sacrifice...
but nevertheless there are sequels named "last order" coming up showing another story from the point where she arrvies at Tiphares...

mm, for reference, for the version of Battle Angel manga released inthe US, Angel's Ascension is the last one.. and yes, that literally *is* the last image. (mm... no, i didn't copy it, it's a... re-rendering, i suppose). And they're hugging. Not... doing.... whatever it is that the lot of ya'll think they're doing. I didn't realize it would be interpreted that way until some *male* friends pointed that out...

I think it's confusing b/c if she's sitting in his lap sorta, her body is out of proportion...her trunk needs to be longer. Nice use of color and texture tho.

I think it is the mans arm that causes the confusion. The dark line by the bicept causes this I think. Viewed full size seems to cure this though. Great image. It almost seems as if he is mourning her loss. I don't know the story. Is she dead?
