Along his body are darker stripes that gradually lighten until it blends in with his main body. His wings are an odd mix between a Pyrrhian dragon and a HiveWing's wings as its separated into different sections but instead of being transparent, its gold. He has wrist spikes on his front legs that are gold color, as well. He has a typical RainWing frill which is gold as well as a HiveWing horn that's the same color.

POWERS >
Kukri only has a HiveWing venom in his wrist blades, a venom that has effects similar to the Angel's Trumpets. A venom that takes affect when he slices into a dragon enough to enter their immune system. First it starts off with confusion and memory issues which is NEVER permanent in RP unless the RPer asks for it to be forever. (Must discuss with me to avoid set-ups or misunderstandings!) Then the dragon enters a coma like state and after several hours without getting treated, it can lead to death.
All of these take a while to take effect but can be easily fixed or prevented with a simple cure. The cure being lemons, which all it needs is just squirt a bit of lemon into the wound and due to the acid, it'll cancel out the effect. It could also work if you eat a shit ton of lemons.
Due to a fight in his childhood, Kukri always carries around lemons. (It's also a good snack or way to freak others out)
SKILLS >
Due to being left to his own devices half of the time, Kukri has basic survival skills such as how to set a fire without needing any firebreath (Though firebreath, flamesilk or anything that can catch on fire helps him a lot, as he isn't that good at it) And due to his time as a criminal, he has plenty of knowledge of how crime works and everything that surrounds it, though he is no expert on it.

Education/Training >
Kukri went to a standard school where he did excel in subjects such as history and writing- not to the point of prodigy level, but was average at the rest of the subjects. He also taught himself survival skills as a result of his mother's eventual neglect though he is no master at it, which he learned more and more after he went over to the Sand Kingdom and then eventually Pantala into the Wilding Weald.

POSITIVE:
Steadfast >
When it comes to his beliefs and morals, Kukri isn't one to typically back down and change his mind from what he thinks is right. Yes he'll consider the other point of view (Hence why it actually isn't in neutral) but he'll usually politely decline it, if he feels like something is wrong he'll stand by it, no matter what form of corruption may try to sway him. The only time he may do some amoral stuff is when under HIGH amounts of stress and bottled up emotions.
Hard-Working >
Kukri is known for working quite hard in his hobbies and in general, his entire time in school proves that he works hard in order to get there-Even if in the neutral section I go over how it had some not-good effects. But besides all of that, Kukri isn't someone who typically quits unless something badly happens that causes him to switch his plans. Or if he switches plans here and there, but he is still willing to do what he has to do.
Caring >
Kukri is a caring dragon, often or not looking out for his loved ones and making sure that they are happy and content. He often or not jokes with them with snarky comments, or shares his ideas with them. Whenever they need something, he's on his way and is more than willing to help them, no matter how much it takes!
NEUTRAL:
Ambitious >
Deep down, Kukri is someone who has a tendency to wants more in life. He has big goals and big plans in life and constantly dreams about reaching them. He's constantly planning about what could he do to protect his loved ones, and dreams of one day having enough power to be able to keep everyone he loves safe.
However this comes in with some concerning negative side effects. While it is good to wish for more, Kukri has a tendency to swallow more than he can chew and not consider the possible cons to situations. Or perhaps, he just doesn't care if he's in deeper water than he thinks.
Unpredictable >
Kukri is someone who you can't exactly tell what exactly he is thinking in his mind, even mind-readers who look into his mind can tell that he has a tendency to think a lot about one thing but then go ahead and do the exact opposite of what he was thinking of. And its easy to suspect that its not a case of him manipulating them- its just that he can easily change his mind or decide to do something he claims he won't do, or he doesn't want to do.
Now while its a good thing to be flexible and not be too predictable to avoid being boring or in fights, sometimes it can be a bit shocking for others to see him do something despite showing no signs of doing so.
Long-Winded >
When it comes to subjects Kukri is interested in and enjoys, Kukri can talk for hours. And hours. And HOURS. About his interests, as he is very passionate about his hobbies and interests. He is quite talkative and can blabber on for ages, with no sign of stopping. This can be good as it shows how truly passionate he is about his interests and opinions but obviously it can be quite annoying and tiring to hear a dragon talk about his interests.
Clingy >
To his loved ones, Kukri can be quite clingy to them. Now while his clinginess doesn't show up in a constant "Needing to be with them" way, it's more obvious when he start talking and trying to bond with the people he loves to by rambling or just talking to them, implying how he just doesn't want to be alone and lose his loved ones by rambling to them.
This also mixes in with his paranoia and insecurities, where sometimes he has a tendency to project his feelings onto others in order to protect them from possible threats- Whenever the threats are actual threats or not is debatable.
This isn't a bad thing as it is good to be close to your loved ones, but sometimes Kukri can overstep dragons' boundaries and unknowingly cause them to get stressed out or just angry at him. Especially when he starts projecting onto them, this can lead to unknowingly cause them to doubt dragons who are possibly innocent- Or just cause his loved ones to get angry at him.
Dedicated >
When it comes to the rare times he dedicates himself to a project, to a plan Kukri can get quite focused onto it. He is passionate about his interests, about his goals, but however this comes with a price. Due to his low self-esteem he gets the feeling that sometimes he has to finish a goal that he ends up feeling like its bad, that if anyone has to do it its him.
He also has a tendency to neglect his own needs and self-care in order to get there, often or not forgetting to sleep or even eat and not even trying to ask for help or let people know he is struggling, leading to some burn-out and overall bad self-care.
NEGATIVE:
Bottled Up Emotions
Kukri has a nasty habit of bottling up his emotions and hiding them under a disguise. His reasoning is that he doesn't want other dragons to worry about him and a sense that if he lets out his emotions, it'll just drag everyone and his plans downwards. He bottles up his emotions with his outwardly chaotic nature
This takes a toll on his mental health as he will sometimes refuse any concerns or worries and completely deflect the question onto others and he'll refuse to make it clear when the stress of everything is starting to get to him, and dragons have to let out their emotions. However, when his emotions can't take it anymore it goes directly to the next negative trait.
Volatile >
When eventually Kukri's bottled up emotions gets to the point where it erupts, it erupts pretty badly. Once it explodes, Kukri's unpredicatable nature goes from "Switching opinions and suddenly doing something" to sometimes downright dangerous as his bottled up emotions blinds him with feelings of every single negative emotion he carries- Guilt, insecurity and worrying he isn't good enough for anyone and that everyone secretly hates him, paranoia and suspicion. This can lead to him possibly terrifying others as usually, they get little to no warning of him showing that deep down, he's struggling and isn't in a good mental place.
Quick to Blame>
A trait that seems to secretly bother Kukri, he has a tendency to take the blame and sees himself as the problem when situations tend to go wrong or when things turn out sour. Now while he does a good job repressing it for the most part (Which as seen as above, is negative by itself) its still clear that he is the type of dragon to take full responsibility for anything that happens, on whenever he actually did something wrong...or if its something that isn't his fault.
Insecure >
Kukri is quite insecure and has a low self-image of himself. Constantly criticizing himself, especially when he isn't perfect or up to everyone's standards, he is his worst critic. He often or not reflects on if he is good enough for anyone and if he is making mistakes and not being completely perfect to what everyone expects him to be.
Pessimistic >
Always assuming the worst when it comes to dragons and focusing on the negatives, Kukri is quite cynical and tends to believe that dragons are against him. Now while he can warm up to others, even then he can be worried and negative that they will leave him or end up hating him. Because of this, he can be quite paranoid over dragons who mean well, and be overly suspicious over dragons' intentions.
LIKES >> History, writing, talking about his hobbies and interests, his friends, his fox Wisp, crime.
DISLIKES >> Failure, his own insecurity, apples, the Alliance (He personally finds them way too strict and considering some stuff like the Investigation, he feels like they are sometimes no better than the threats they claim to defeat), asking for help.
SECRETS:
Insecurity > Due to his bottled up emotions and refusal to talk about his problems, his worries and self loathing is hidden underneath his unpredictable chaotic nature. He doesn't want others to worry about him, so.
FEARS:
Failure > One of his worst fears, if not the worst one. Due to his childhood and being expected to be the perfect little kid, he grew quite a massive fixed mindset. If he fails, everything can and will go wrong. If he shows a single sign that he is failing, he isn't good enough. For anyone. Being a gifted kid sucks, 0/10 Don't recommend
His Worries Being True > He is constantly worried that his constant pessimistic, paranoid thoughts are true; That dragons even his loved ones secretly hate him and are plotting against him or that they WILL hate and betray him in the end. He is aware that he hasn't made the right decisions in the past, but he is still terrified of dragons hating him or hurting him.
WISHES/DREAMS:
Safety > Ultimately all Kukri wants is safety for him and his loved ones (Or well, to be more accurate his loved ones being safe has a higher priority than him being safe) whenever that means. If he has to carry the burden in order to make sure they are all safe and happy, he will as that's all he wants.
Help Out The Strays > After rescuing a fox kit from the Wildling Weald, it brought to light how animals within the City of Strays are well...strays, and deserving of being rehomed or relocated and Kukri wishes that one day, he can find a way to help out the Wildling Weald's stray animal problem. He just wants the little creatures to be okay and be taken care of (In a non-violent way of course)

Bullet Point History
-Born to Atlas and Apple as an only child.
-At first life was good until the experience of having a new child wore off on Apple as she treated life as if its a game with achievements. There, she started to become emotionally and mentally abusive towards her son. Atlas was there to comfort him, but it started the fear of failure in Kukri regardless.
-In school Kukri showed a gift in writing and history and was considered to be a gifted student, which only fueled his insecurity as students began to take advantage of him since they noticed how he's TERRIFIED of failing and disappointing his parents
-Ended up fighting with a student after a bad week of lack of self-care, ended up finding out his venom out the hard way. While Atlas was not mad, only disappointed Apple was PISSED about it and only worsened her son's problems
-Once he was a young adult, Apple began hosting parties and once Kukri began working underneath a shopkeeper, doing odd jobs she took advantage of his late shifts to lock him outside of the house.
-He acted like Everything Is Okay to the shopkeeper and any customors but deep down it worsened his self esteem and paranoia more and more
- Ended up meeting Yucca, a Sand/Rain hybrid who was a fellow student after a night where Apple locked him outside. The two started to plot about Arson:tm: (As in Yucca convinced him to get revenge and Kukri went along with it as he was exhausted)
-Ended up blowing up their house with dragonflame cacti, which killed 10 people (Including Apple) and when Atlas confronted him about it, Kukri was hit with debris that left a scar on his neck
-Kukri ended up passing out from blood loss when he flew away after his father let him go, Yucca healed him but heavily implied that he'd turn him in to the Rainforest Kingdom which lead Kukri to run off the insant he fully healed from his wound
-Ended up becoming a drug smuggler first in the Sand Kingdom until he meet Alaire, who offered to protect him instead of turning him in. He ended up moving to the Wildling Weald along with Alaire where he formed a drug smuggling group with Larkspur, Alaire, Lampyris and [?]
-Ended up saving a fox kit and taking her in
-After they began to get lots of $$$ from the business, they all decided to go to Isle Mezzo for the calmer life
-Became a shopkeeper where he sells Legal drugs, getting his venom from the Hive Kingdom every now and then
Baby Dragonet >
Kukri was born within the Rainforest Kingdom, a child of Apple and Atlas. After the two had fallen in love, Atlas had moved from Tsetse Hive to Apple's home Kingdom to raise his child in a tribe that is known for being peaceful. While the Hive Kingdom has been peaceful in general, he didn't trust the Queen of the SilkWings in the slightest and felt that perhaps, being in the Rainforest would be much healthier for his child. He was blissfully unaware that perhaps, he had made a mistake thinking that.
For the first couple days and weeks, life was good. Apple and Atlas practically babied Kukri which they named after the snake. But as time went on, the whole "new experience of having a child" began to wear off from Apple. Apple was to put it lightly, the type of dragoness to see life achievements and goals as exactly that, achievements. Trophies basically. And she was quite disappointed to see that her son inherited Atlas' HiveWing genetics more than hers.
So she began to get less and less attached to Kukri, often leaving Atlas alone to take care of the child while she went off on her own to go to parties with her friends, overall dumping all responsibility on the only parent that truly cared. When she was at home, she was cold to her son, barely even looking at him. When she did look at him, it was to see if he had any signs of RainWing abilities such as spitting venom and color changing scales. When he showed no signs of venom spitting and camouflage, Apple was upset. She knew that it was in fact her child, it was obvious because of the frill and the odd coloring so she couldn't excuse Atlas of anything. So she had to live with the fact that right away, Kukri didn't match her expectations and she began to care even less about her own son. Sometimes Apple thought about taking the child and dropping him off at a hatching to be raised by the tribe, and then claim that she "lost him" and that perhaps a jaguar killed him. But, she knew Atlas wouldn't accept that and if he found Kukri being raised by someone else it'd be the end of their relationship.
However Kukri noticed how things seemed to change and was confused and hurt by Apple suddenly becoming more and more distant and pushing him aside. What was he doing wrong? When Apple would make a comment about how he isn't as pretty as a purebreed RainWing, or even some other hybrid RainWings and then sound disappointed at the similarly lack of venom or color-changing scales, Kukri was hurt and made it his goal to try to impress her, to be good enough for her.
Atlas on the other talon was always there for Kukri, whenever Kukri was upset at Apple's coldness Atlas was there to comfort the dragonet and be there. But still, the seeds of the fear of failure, the fear of disappointing others has been planted and Kukri knew he wanted to make his parents proud.
Dragonet >
Things didn't get much better.
On the surface, you could argue that in fact, things have gotten better once Kukri began going to school as Kukri proved to be quite knowledgeable in subjects such as writing and history, absorbing knowledge like a sponge. He was always well-behaved and did his work in class, and did his homework. Some of his teachers were quick to label him as a gifted student. While in the other subjects Kukri was average in, as he didn't care about math that much and it was clear that he wasn't a natural fighter, he was skilled in writing and history. Not to the point of a prodigy, but as mentioned- Enough to be counted as a gifted kid.
But underneath the surface, it was clear it was just getting worse.
Kukri knew that if he was average in school, Apple wouldn't care and based on that alone he worried Atlas would soon join her if he even struggled in his classes. That combined with the fact he felt the need to impress the school staff, he began to try to go above and beyond. But this quickly lead to several problems that he hid.
Being a gifted kid doesn't protect you from your peers being potentially cruel and mean-spirited. In projects especially, students that were lazy would often pass their duties in the project onto the Rain/Hive hybrid and use him as a scapegoat as some of them had a feeling that he wouldn't let the project fail-especially the NightWing dragonets with mind-reading and empath powers catching the thoughts regarding his fear of failure. And Kukri would just accept the constantly piling of work, even to the point of neglecting his own needs as he'd struggle with just saying "No." as he had to be as perfect as possible.
Speaking of that, that was yet another problem. In order to be perfect, to pass his classes often or not Kukri felt the need to go on all-nighters where he'd be on the verge of passing out, on the verge of having a breakdown as a result of the lack of sleep. He wouldn't take care of himself for days, and whenever dragons tried to offer help Kukri would lock up and deny their assistance.
Apple's unfair treatment of him also didn't stop, if anything it got worse as Kukri got older. Whenever Kukri showed his parents his grades, she'd always fixate on the classes that were average or the moments where his grades and work effort would dip for a moment as a result of him neglecting his own self-care and make snide comments about that. There were several moments where Kukri was on the verge of breaking down as a result of constant work and work piling up on him that were either his or other students' work, Apple wouldn't blink an eye and if anything refused to let him take a break, to vent and talk about his emotions. Whenever Atlas or even when Kukri pointed out at how Apple would often or not vent to Atlas, she'd say "Oh, for me its different. Look at how my scales change with each emotion and how stunning it is. You don't have that, so your emotions just make you ugly and a wreck." and other snide comments that lead to Kukri believing that he can't show that he is struggling mentally, that him taking a break is bad and would just lead to failure and disappointment.
But underneath it all, there was the seeds that were planted long ago soon growing into yet another stem. A stem of paranoia, that dragons were always going to use him. He could hear how some of the dragons who dumped their work on him whispering about how he was only useful for school work, that he was a suck-up and other snide comments about him. Typical school comments but deep down, it tore at him. But not as much as Apple's comments as often or not, she'd complain to Atlas or her other friends about Kukri's efforts and it was clear in her topics that she saw him like an object, a broken object whenever he starts struggling, and when he was doing good she'd make it where it was her treatment that lead to him succeeding, or say that it would be better if he had more RainWing traits. While Atlas would defend his son, her friends or perhaps proxies would laugh at her comments and egg her on.
Then a situation happened where soon, his venom was revealed.
After a particular bad week when it comes to his mental health due to all-nighters and him neglecting himself and overall growing paranoia, a student who had recently dumped their work on him decided to say outright in his face about how he was only useful for being a scapegoat and as a result of burn-out and overall mental health problems, Kukri eventually snapped under the pressure and began to fight back. Soon it escalated to a brawl, where Kukri slashed his wrist blades- which he had no idea contained venom until it was too late. After the staff pulled the two apart, it all seemed okay other than the two would be given punishments, especially with how Kukri acted shockingly out of character.
But then, eventually the other student too began to act differently as he began to seem confused and wondering what was happening, why was the teachers mad? The teachers were confused and first assumed he was playing dumb, but then the student would INSIST that he had no idea what happened, he couldn't remember. Kukri at the time wasn't sure what was happening, perhaps he accidentally hit the student's head against something hard? Kukri began to feel guilty if that was the case.
Then after several hours, Kukri overheard panic in the hallways once more and Kukri began to somewhat eavesdrop and was horrified to overhear at how the student he picked a fight with had all the sudden passed out in the middle of a class and no one could wake up the student up as it was realized he had slipped into a coma. This horrified Kukri, as soon he began to put together what had happened. He used his wrist-blades, and Atlas too had wrist-blades that he alluded had a dangerous venom.
Did he inherit that?
Thankfully, the school realizing that it might have been venom began contacting any RainWing healers that might know the cure and they began practicing every little thing that could stop the student from dying. It didn't have any effect until they used a lemon, and after a couple hours the student stirred into consciousness again.
When Kukri got home to report what happened, that was when he first saw Atlas' disappointment. While he didn't scold his son as that's a sad truth when it comes to HiveWing powers, sometimes they are discovered the hard way Atlas was still disappointed that he had gotten into a fight in the first place, but just told him to try avoiding getting into fights again but what happened wasn't his fault. Apple on the other talon, was upset. Upset that he had dared showed his emotions, about how weak he truly was and turns out that he DID had a venom, but not even a venom that had anything to do with being part RainWing. A venom that could have killed someone.
Right there Kukri nearly broke down at the pressure put on him from both of his parents' disappointment, but he kept it locked. Even when Atlas later on tried to coax the hybrid into talking as potentially killing someone could have had a bad impact on him (And he had badly impacted him) Kukri refused to open up. First he had hurt someone, and now he disappointed his parents for what he had done, now he promised to himself that he would never tell them what he is struggling with, and that if he gets into another fight he won't tell them. He can't handle rejection and disappointment anymore, he wanted them to be happy and proud of him.
Young Adult >
Once Kukri was old enough to be considered to be an adult and graduated the school with flying colors, things were supposed to be looking brighter. Some dragons began to assume that he'd just join the Alliance, or any sort of powerful organization and then everything would have a happy ending.
But this isn't going to end that way.
Now that he was considered an adult, if Apple still had love for Kukri during his dragonethood it had now fully left her and now she didn't care about Kukri. To her, he was more or less finished. She didn't need to care about him anymore, and so she didn't. So she went back to old hobbies, old interests instead of giving Kukri any form of attention.
She would often or not have parties with her friends or proxies over at the home, and while she'd ask Atlas on how he feels she wouldn't bother asking Kukri. There, she'd basically constantly push aside her own son in favor of herself and ignore him. If anything the only form of attention she'd give him is annoyance and after the first couple nights where Kukri seemed visibly uncomfortable-she came up with a plan.
At this time, Kukri had began doing odd jobs as training underneath a shopkeeper. Most dragons were shocked that the dragon who shown skill in history and writing would sign up to be a mere shopkeeper, but Kukri had decided it was a good place to go. It would be useful to learn how to play a facade, to act like a quirky yet shady seller of goods. But when he'd come home, exhausted under the training and dealing with some troublesome customers and just be ready to finally do some self-care, sometimes the door would be locked. And whenever he'd try to knock, no answer so he'd be left with no choice but to sleep outside.
At first he thought it was an accident or perhaps Apple had completely forgot he had existed, and originally that was what Apple claimed. But after the second, and then the third time, then the fourth Apple finally admitted why.
It was to make sure he couldn't bother her or her guests, as now that he was an adult she didn't have to worry about possible backlash of leaving her own dragonet in the wilderness. He could take care of himself.
Kukri was distraught over this, his own mother had decided to just shove him aside and basically decide to leave him in the wilderness alone. When the sun did rise, yeah Atlas would usually quickly grab him and drag him in and force him to warm up but on those nights, he'd be left alone.
Sure, he could crash in at the shop and sleep in there. Sure, he could ask one of the other RainWings for help. Sure, he could possibly MAKE Apple let him in or even break into his own house. But that requires asking for help, admitting he was struggling. And if he was to do that, would he be a disappointment and let others know that he wasn't okay? In his mind, yes he would
So instead, on the nights where she locked him outside of the house he'd just sleep outside, somewhere secluded so that he didn't have to deal with potential questions from strangers. Well, sleep for the first couple nights- Lying down on the ground in ever-growing self-hatred and bottled up emotions after that. That combined with his work as a shopkeeper just caused everything to spike up and spike up. While toward his mentor and other customers, he was always friendly and put up the act that Everything Was Okay, but sometimes he'd have moments where he'd break a bit. But if anyone noticed, he instantly bounced back up on the surface.
But underneath was a storm of all sorts of negative emotions. Self-hatred and guilt as deep down he blamed himself for not being good enough for Apple and being a disappointment, anger as a part of him knew that Apple was being cruel but also frustration at the situation because whenever he looked, there was no right option in his eyes. This also factored into his lack of sleep.
One day just like how a volcano explodes after years of building up pressure, Kukri blew up and came apart at the seams.
It all started after a long day at work where Kukri had to deal with some of the most frustrating customers that were demanding to see the manager and Kukri was just exhausted and already boiling from anger that he kept bottled up. He was ready to just lay down on his bed at home and just scream and cry into the pillow for an hour until he passed out for the day. Maybe two. But luck wasn't on his side, as when he got home the door was once again locked and he could hear the commotion of Apple talking to her guests.
Frustrated, Kukri flew away from the house as he could fill the build-up of emotions just getting worse and worse but he managed to bottle it up until he reached a secluded area and finally began to let out a much needed scream and cry, loudly rambling to himself about how unfair it truly was to him, did he really deserve this? He probably did for being a disappointment in his eyes, but still Apple was constantly mistreating him and he didn't know what to do. He spent a good couple minutes until he realized that the secluded area wasn't as secluded as he thought.
All the sudden the trees in front of him shifted colors as a Sand/Rain hybrid dropped their color changing scales. Instantly Kukri bounced back up and put up a facade but it was far too late, the hybrid had heard the screaming and crying fit. So, the second step is that Kukri tackled the hybrid acting with the intent to hurt or possibly kill. However due to Kukri's lack of self-care and the fact that deep-down Kukri was no killer or fighter, the hybrid quickly pushed the Rain/Hive off and then began to explain himself.
He was Yucca, a fellow student who went to the same school that Kukri did-which Kukri instantly realized was the truth as he had vague memories of the hybrid wandering the halls, and he heard the monologue of screaming and crying and was so concerned and worried about him. At first Kukri denied what happened, he was okay and he didn't need help. But Yucca wasn't stepping down and kept asking him questions, like who was Apple? What was she doing that was upsetting Kukri so much? What could he do to perhaps assist him? Kukri then changed his mind to realizing how shady the hybrid was for listening in and then began to accuse Yucca of plotting to use his weakness against him and that he was plotting against him, after all he was there at the school who knows he was one of the people talking bad about him behind his back! But Yucca insisted that he was on his side, and he had no ill intentions and was just listening in out of seer curiosity.
Eventually Kukri broke and admitted to Yucca on what Apple was doing, while he wasn't specific about the details. Like how he admitted that he was angry at Apple, but not the fact he had feelings of self-hatred and just guilt. Yucca sat there, with this smug smile on his face but at this point, Kukri was too tired to care anymore.
After he vented, Yucca then asked on if he could help Kukri get revenge on Apple, to hurt her just as much as she hurt him. Kukri sat there, exhausted and just went along with it. Yucca then admitted that he had some connections with some friends of his at the Sand Kingdom (Context- Yucca had connections with a gang, hence why he had the stuff needed) so that he can help with Kukri.
As the conversation furthered, eventually he cracked and snapped saying that he just wanted to burn down the entire place to the ground, as it'd brought nothing but pain to him and needed to be removed all together. And Yucca played along, feeding into Kukri's more darker, mudded thoughts as a result of bottled up emotions finally exploding and just lack of clear thought overall (The lack of sleep didn't help at all). Yucca then offered something, his friends has a nice supply of good ol dragonflame cacti that he is more than willing to give to Kukri, and of course since Kukri lacks any sort of ability that can start fires, Yucca can be the one to let it ablaze.
So then, the next time Apple decided to lock him outside again Kukri instantly went back to the location, where Yucca was waiting for him. There, Yucca gave him a pouch that was quite heavy and he could check and see a couple pods of dragonflame cacti. Good, good. So, he planted the pods surrounding the house. Thankfully, the sounds of him hiding them in places were covered by the commotion inside.
After he had successfully covered them all, he was getting ready to set them ablaze with the help of Yucca's fire who had set sticks on fire to make them sort of like torches so that Kukri can set them on fire. (Little did Kukri know, this was to make sure that Kukri gets to be the scapegoat if they get caught, if he was the one who technically set off the bombs) Once he was ready, he threw the stick at the bombs and at the impact of the fire touching the bombs. It all went off.
All the sudden the house and everything around it was set ablaze by the explosions. The laughter of happiness and fun all the sudden changed into sounds of screaming and panic, and Kukri could hear the voice of Apple mixed in with the screaming.
But to Kukri's horror, as the adrenaline went off he found himself not feeling happy, or even satisfied of what he did...he was distraught and horrified at his actions. Those dragons weren't going to make it, and if they did they wouldn't come out the same as they came in. He felt an overwhelming sense of guilt of overall disgust at what he did, how could anyone enjoy this?
Sure Apple might deserve this, but the others? Maybe they didn't, so he could have potentially killed innocent people...and who knows on if more might die once word gets out.
Was Atlas there?
He'd soon got that answer as all the sudden, he heard the voice that caused his heart to sink even further.
Atlas instantly asked him what the hell did he just do, which Kukri at first insisted that he was perfectly okay, but Atlas could tell that Kukri was behind it and just wanted to know why and how. Kukri in his self-hatred and tendency to blame himself spat that he was the one who did it all, taking the blame and not mentioning that he had help.
As they were talking, one of the dragonflame cacti that hadn't exploded yet blew up from the contact of the growing flames and to Kukri's surprise, it flung debris toward the two, Atlas quickly pounced on Kukri to save him...something Kukri doesn't understand why he'd do that but before he could, something sliced against the hybrid's throat, causing him to spill blood over himself and Atlas. Atlas was surprised and after moving from the fire, Atlas mentioned at how Kukri messed up Big Time but he could tell that he was practically a ticking bomb due to Apple's abuse. He was upset about the arson, but he was more upset at how Kukri didn't reach out for help but could tell that it was due to his childhood.
He then said that yeah, he wouldn't kill him or turn him in especially since it was just a small house (Even if he was bothered by the fact dragons most likely died) but..he had to go. Not just because Kukri might be hunted down if he stays in the Rainforest for too long, but just to escape from a place that caused him so much pain and suffering.
Kukri listened to his words carefully, especially when Atlas eventually admitted that he as a father should have done more to help, to be there but now the damage has been done. So after a while, Kukri flew off but due to the blood loss, and inhalation of the smoke he only flew so far until eventually his vision began to get blurry and then faded into black.
Once Kukri stirred into the waking world, he found himself in a part of the Rain Forest far away from the house. For a moment, he had forgotten about what had happened and thought it was just an awful nightmare until he felt his throat and felt a sharp pain and the texture of a bandage wrapped around it, not enough to choke him but enough to stop the bleeding.
Nearby was Yucca who greeted the awake hybrid. Kukri was conflicted, seeing him. On one talon, he was the one who saved him and on the other talon...yeah he assisted in the arson.
There, Yucca casually mentioned at how dragons are saying that when the fire stopped and they came by the check up on the carnage, they found 10 bodies there-including Apple. Some of them died due to the fire and explosion itself, some of them died to smoke inhalation, and some of them were found crushed by debris.
Kukri deep down was horrified but acted cool, as if it didn't bother him that much. But he could tell just by the look in Yucca's eyes that he was planning something, and with all shady he's been acting and kept mentioning about how Kukri is surely going to be on some wanted posters and now he'll be known as the former gifted student now arsonist, that the plan was going to be at least turning him in to the Rain Kingdom itself, maybe even to the Alliance itself. And despite Kukri's guilt and horror regarding the situation, he refused to be locked up. He had to make his father proud of him, he had to make sure he doesn't disappoint him once again.
So when Kukri had a feeling he had healed as much as he could, Kukri dipped in the middle of the night while Yucca was sleeping. He thought about going to another RainWing village but thought differently, they would surely remember him so he had other plans.
Leave the Rain Kingdom by itself entirely.

Kukri went straight to the Sand Kingdom, a dumb decision now that he thinks about it considering Yucca's involvement with the Sand Kingdom and lingered there for several years.
In his time there, he typically kept to himself and tried his best to avoid any sort of business with any gangs, especially the big ones. However, eventually he got into some quite shady stuff. Shady stuff as in drugs baby! Now while he never took them himself, he'd often sell them or smuggle them for gangs, sometimes doing it with dragonflame cacti.
One day, when he was 14 after coming back from a drug smuggling mission he was caught by a SandWing. Surprised but also worried that he'll be locked up, especially as the dragon introduced himself as Alaire, an advisor to the SandWing queen. However what ended up happening surprised him, the dragon then said that he wouldn't arrest the hybrid but instead offered protection as an advisor in return for intel.
Then he asked where was his location, and that was when Kukri paused. Now while he knew he didn't want to be arrested and didn't want to get on the bad side of a powerful dragon in terms of politics, recently he's been feeling disconnected from the Sand Kingdom. Too hot and stuffy, even for a Rain hybrid. Not to mention Yucca...
He has heard of similar businesses in the Wildling Weald, on an entirely different continent so perhaps he should move his business there. So that's what he told Alaire, that his main operations are going to be heading to the Wilding Weald. Alaire stated that in 2 weeks he'll go there and soon, be on a little vacation over there.
Soon Kukri went to the Wilding Weald, and in a couple weeks Alaire joined him in the business. Where Kukri got to know a certain group of dragons and bonded over good ol crime. For the first time in a while, Kukri began to feel happy and almost comfortable for a change despite the shady actions they were doing as they sold drugs like HiveWing venoms that can be used as recreational drugs and even sometimes the Phantasmorgia Blossom.
During his time there, he came across a fox kit that appeared to have lost their mother(He soon found out the fox was a vixen) As the kit had no nearby parents, and considering how one of the names was the City of Strays it was easy to assume they were an impulse pet dumped here by bad owners. Kukri decided to take in the kit, and this time actually take care of the fox. He decided to name them Wisp, and while he kept her away from the shady business (Due to being worried the fox might consume something she really shouldn't have) he kept her around even now.
After several years, the group had decided on a choice. Because of the amount of money they gained as a result of their career they could lay low, live a simple, calmer life on Mezzo. Especially with help from being friends with a SandWing advisor coming with benefits.
So soon, they left for Isle Mezzo where they stayed there. Kukri grew to not care much for the Alliance but knew better than to start anything and to try to challenge them, despite sometimes wishing he could. But he decided to go back to his roots, to a time where it was more complicated but this was something he'd enjoy.
Using some of the money the group got from drug smuggling, he opened up a small shop in Isle Mezzo and once again became a shopkeeper, using his knowledge he gained from his time as one and as an apprentice as one, where he sells HiveWing venom that can be used for more...legal drugs (Which he is bitter that he can't sell the good stuff, but he doesn't want the Alliance to come knocking)
Every now and again, Kukri often gets his venom from the Hive Kingdom where he pays HiveWings who are willing to give their venom for it to be used recreationally and for medicine. Then he proceeds to sell it at a higher price (After dilatating it to make sure its safe to be used). He also sells his own venom which he dilates to become a drug to help dragons forget temporally (Due to it being dilated, the venom can only cause temporary memory loss with no other side effect), for dragons who may want to forget bad memories.
