Description
I thought of a story where this kid was taken into fostercare/adopted by an abusive single father. There was tons of abuse but the government never figured out or cared.

And one night after a lot of drinking the abuse got to one of its highest points (hence the scars left on the guy). After this the boy ran away out of the old man's apartment by going out a window down those ladders/fire shoots the old father thought he killed the boy and hid the body in a drunk and drugged rage.

Although several years later he would see a familiar face and fate will decide what happens next. I actually thought about doing a comic on this.
