Blue is associated with a creeping sadness or depression, Green/Normal associated with a natural joy, Red is associated with a fiery Rage.

Done with Adobe illustrator over three images of myself, I started with the middle face, then the blue one, then the red one. You can actually see how my technique has progress if you look at the faces in that order.
