Keevan had been in prison for a while and the scope of his punishment was finally decided. For being an enemy prisoner of war, for attempting to kill federation service members, and for multiple counts of conspiracy to commit murder, among other crimes, Keevan has been sentenced to a life of gorging.

Vorta don't enjoy food. They simply weren't designed to. So his punishment is manifold. He eats endlessly and has to experience the disgust of consumption. He is constantly getting fatter and in the process less and less able to perform the duties he was engineered for. He is simultaneously gorged and injected with fat to keep him growing. A fat slave is a useless slave.

They keep him stuffed day and night. He is literally not allowed to get hungry. His stomach is kept on the verge of bursting every moment of every day. Fat is injected directly into his intestine so it doesn't interfere with his gorging.

Once his belly completely outgrew his feet he gave up and gave in. He was genetically designed to not feel or need pleasure, yet he derives joy from eating more. Every day he clears just a little bit more than the previous day. He wonders if he outgrows his cell if they'll release him on time served. Or maybe they'll just transport him to a bigger cell? Way he's growing he'll eventually find out.
