So, my most recent manga obsession has been Hunter x Hunter...I'm not entirely sure why I'm obsessed with it, but I've gone through over 100 chapters in the past week >.<

...but anyway, I was reading through and was somewhat displeased by the fact that all the young, uber-talented characters seem to be boys. It kinda makes sense since it's put out by shonen jump, I suppose, but I felt the need to create a strong young lady to balance off all the boys

Her name is Hitoshi and I decided that she'd be the daughter of Hanzo (the bald ninja that Gon and the gang took the Hunter exam with)'s master, who learned exceptionally fast and by the age of 11 had become Hanzo's greatest rival. After he took the Hunter exam at the end of the year, she promptly decided to kick his @$s for not taking her along. So now she's 12, a specialist in unarmed combat and making explosives, and ready to take on the hunter exam herself. She looks up to Hanzo as a big brother and never fails to rub it in his face that she is at least as strong as he is. I haven't figured out her nen-type yet...

...I'll probably come up with a lame fan fic to go along with her before long ^^U Probably when I finish reading all 270 chapters that I've found in print so far.

So yeah. Any comments on the character, suggestions to improve her, or interesting setting ideas for a fic you don't feel like writing your self and wouldn't mind me borrowing for her would be greatly appreciated.
