Endless forgotten streams

Going unheard, far off into the night..

This old house
Home at one time, to a father and a wife
The daughter was the keeper of time
They were all lost without a fight..

Come on closer
Take the hand of one whose close to you

Close enough to kiss..

Are we dreaming empty rivers, waiting for the calls that will not come today
Are we awake, can we feel anything at all, we're gonna take
Another step back this way through time, to a time when everything was fine
No one hurting all the time
Enter in to a memory of light..

Keep your heart and keep your senses
Run through the leaves, watch your step you'll fall
Hard, onto the ground, it hurts when no one's there to help you..

Run at the darkness, challenge it to fight
Try to escape misery, heartache and the strife
That we all feel, we're not protected as much as we pretend
We're all running back and fourth, never satisfied, it's never enough..

Broken pages of a book
I found, so I thought I'd take a look
and see inside the artist's mind
See if I could compromise my own reality..

What a fool I was, thinking that I could set the heaven's all align
With a sweet smile, celebration
Where everyone's having a great time, where I know your heart is mine
Where we're together all the time..

Am I not strong enough?
Can I not take the heat, that you're throwing at me..
Sometimes I feel, it's not enough
This love, this endless grace that's pouring off of you
How I wish you were a dream that would come true..

So I could dream of you and me together like a fantasy
With big white gardens and flowers all around
