So I figured I'd explain my gmod headcanon here so people can understand my series.Year: 2001
Main species: Inklings, Octolings, Hybrids, Humans, etc
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟏?
Because I wanted to set my timeline in a different year, and I didn't want my series to be set in the modern era or the canon Splatoon year.
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐧, 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐭?
Well to me, the concept of having humans extinct is weird to me.
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬/𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬/𝐡𝐲𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐬?
I'm a huge fan of the video game multiverse kind of deal, so I had the idea to mix my series with Splatoon, Super Mario, Team Fortress 2, Half-Life, and a lot more.
Extra Notes:
1. Yes, I have The Beatles in this headcanon yet they realistically broke up in 1969. But it's a fiction headcanon, plus it's gmod so who cares?
2. I'm all about older stuff, which is another reason why I set the year as 2001.
