Description
New lighter was crap, but it did the job. I set up a campfire from the brush from outside - took a seat with my back to the gaping hangar door and the grainy curtain of rain outside. There was a man sitting across from me, kneeling at the fire with a blanket over his shoulders and a composition book in his arms, staring at the asphalt between his knees.

“Should warm up now,” I said.

But he still wasn’t talking.

Here's an older This Is Not Our World illustration (around 2016-2017ish) that I was surprised I hadn't put on here yet. If you've been on my soundcloud, you might recognize the middle slice of it as the cover for the track by the same name, Somewhere Out There . It shows Cestov (right) finding Morgan (left) in what's left of his old home, the COM mountain base. There's going to be a long journey ahead of them...

This was made through an old process of mine, a combination of Blender and Photoshop (now I just use Blender).

I've previously shown Cestov and Morgan in a scrap of mine, [TINOW] Koi River (WIP) . Cestov also shows up in TINOW: Rest Stop

Same usage rights as usual: if you want to use it anywhere, be it through direct use, derivation, compilation, fanart, etc., thank you! Just please contact me for permission first and tell me specifically what it is you plan to do with it. I'm very open to reuse, and I promise I'm super approachable. I just like to know where my stuff is going.
