Plot Summary:
Truthseer of the NightWings was pulled from her world, given a dragon body, and sent to Pyrrtalan isle. Darksoul, a fellow NightWing, welcomed her to their world and informed her of the troubles they face. Dozens of dragons hatched alone and underground on a star-shaped island in the middle of the sea. As they grew up, they had to learn to hunt, fly and survive together. Now, they are fully grown but stand a mere five feet in height. Truthseer, using her powers of prophecy, foresees that these miniature dragons were created and hatched for a devious purpose: to be an animus' play thing, and if she does not find a way to save them all, the miniature dragons will be wiped out by the most powerful hybrid dragon to have ever been born: Mystery, the NightWing/RainWing hybrid and daughter to the NightWing animus dragon they call Chaos. Will Truthseer and the Pyrrtalan Isle dragons be able to defeat this immature but powerful three-year-old dragonet, or will their short and lonely lives be cut even shorter?
PyrrtalanRising is a real-time documentation of a fantasy world devoted to the world of Tui T. Sutherlands dragons. Ages, family trees, deaths, notable events, etc... will be updated in real time as they happen and every dragon that calls Pyrrtalan Isle home will have their biography displayed on PyrrtalanRising.
