Meet Malachite, my ambanja panther chameleon! You can say he is the successor to my very first panther chameleon, Jem... and oh boy, that son of mine. He touched my heart and soul like no other, with perhaps the exception of my baby girl Martha. I lost a piece of me when I lost him. And I always knew that I wanted another chameleon in the future when it was the right time... and last October happened to be the right time! With my wonderful job I was able to take home Malachite. And what a beautiful and sweet boy he is! I am so blessed to have such an angel, as if his predecessor were smiling down on us both. Of course I had to give him a gem-inspired name.
