Whoa. I like the pose, but you really need to remember that this is not a human, and you've given it humanoid musculature on its arms and legs. When trying to draw theropod anatomy, use bird limbs as your main reference material. The skull is also misformed and he needs an earhole behind his head. Velociraptor was also feathered and had wing-like feathers over its arms.
Good first try, though.

This is great! Very nice job on the detail and the overall feeling of the picture. Velociraptors are scary creatures all on their own, but you've made him in a nice pose to enhance his swiftness and scariness. Really nice job!
