Description
Renee's footsteps thundered down the halls as she searched for the duct. Kindle was chasing her madly, slamming himself against walls. He was on all fours, half growling and half panting. "What's come over you?!" She screamed, grabbing a mirror off the wall and hurling it at him like a Frisbee. He snatched it in his mouth from mid-air. The brass frame cracked and silvery mirror glass showered the hardwood floor. His suit ripped down the back, one long flex splitting the seams. He managed to stand on his hind feet and roared, swinging his claws at her. She took off again and found the right room- the one she had stored the droid in until his cue."Wait!" Booster, Blaze, and Rocket Crockett had followed them up the stairs. Everyone else was trying to handle the situation down stairs. The Cryosian boy turned to them, growling. "Please?" Booster whimpered. Kindle roared in protest and took off after Renee again, searching for the right door.
"Uh, how about we help Ty?" Crockett suggested.
"Uh, yeah." Blaze took a few steps backwards. "Sounds like a plan!" He declared, and ran off.

No one had any need to look hard for XR because he was making it known he was in the rafters. "Eeeee!" He screamed, jumping from one support beam to the other. A red shape kept itself concealed, chasing him back and forth. "A little help, guys!" He cried mid-jump. Overshooting the wooden beam, he fell to the floor. Nos came down after him. He grabbed XR by the hand and started up towards the ceiling again. XR's hand popped off and he tumbled to the floor.
"Augh!" Nos plunged down after him in a spiral.
"Nos-4-a2!" Buzz looked up in surprise. "Should've known! Everyone- to the exits!" People scrambled from their seats in panic, as if they weren't freaked out enough by Kindle's outburst and the wirewolf. Teens on stage frenzied and jumped off in flying leaps like lemmings as the cyber monster leapt out from behind the curtains. One girl ran towards the dressing room, her twin brother following.
Nos laughed. He would toss a little something in there for Renee. "Cowardly, pitiful little creatures. Wirewolf!" Ty looked up at him, eyes already growing red with the past effect of his master's mind control. The vampire pointed after the Gummer twins. "Follow and terminate." Wirewolf ran after them dutifully. "I just love chaos!" He swung his arms up in pleasure.
The first of the people to reach the doors began to pound on them desperately. "It's locked!" One man panicked. People all around the building tried the exits- all locked.
"I can't just let my guests run away! That would ruin it all!" He howled with evil laughter, then went flying at XR. He scooped him up in his claws. "You're so much more trouble than you're worth, Little One. I'll be glad to get rid of you!" The rangers snatched at the air in wild attempts to save XR. No jetpacks. Panic filled the theatre as he flew out a high window onto the roof.

Renee broke through the door to the ventilation system, suddenly pushed back by the wind of a huge fan the fed cool air into the theatre. Her hair swirled in all directions. She was in the highest room of the building. It was practically an attic. "What are you doing here? Is it my cue?" The robot asked in confusion. This girl was in a state of panic. He snickered. "I don't usually get guests."
"No time!" Renee gasped. "Hide me! There's a mad Cryosian chasing me!"
"What are you talking about?" He strolled casually towards the door and looked down the hall. "I don't see anything down th-" He was jerked out of the door and returned in a storm of flying parts. Renee was splattered with servo fluid. A few scraps of metal lodged themselves in her skin. She ducked the biggest part of the barrage she had worked hard to repair and reprogram, screaming in pain and terror. The robot's head soared over her and hit a wall. "N-n-now I see it." It stifled a gag and shut down, eyes going dark.
Kindle stepped in, an animal grin deforming his dirty snout. His bulk made him bend under the low ceiling until he was on all fours again. With an awful growl he pushed upward and broke through the ceiling. Rain gushed into the room with a shower of glass and wood. She backed up, tail entwining with the bars over the fan cover and it was nearly shredded. She winced.
He swung above her head wildly, practically blind with rage now, and tore away the grate. A vortex swirled behind Renee, sucking everything into the fan. The metal grate scraped along her back and drew blood when Kindle tossed it away. Papers and parts of the droid were sucked into the flying blades. Another swipe of his paw and Renee felt claws rake through her face and scrape as deep as the bone. The ragged claws went into her left eye, shredding the lid and bringing gouts of blood and gore. Warm blood drenched her face and she tried to open the eye on impulse. A searing pain masked by adrenaline forbade it. The eyelid was nonexistent, the eye itself just a small pool of whitish liquid in the torn socket.
The boy lifted her across the room. A cabinet broke beneath the power of her impact. He moved in for the last blow. "It ends here, girl! The war is over!" She looked up at him with her right eye through the tears and pain. Finally she got it- he was very literally insane. In a last sad and futile attempt to save her own life Renee kicked him powerfully in the stomach with both feet. His eyes got big- the wind had been knocked out of his lungs.
Kindle fell backwards into the fan, nearly taking Renee with him. She dug her claws into the soft wood floor and watched her best friend die. He was torn limb from limb. She came loose from the floor and nearly got sucked in again. The fan jammed on a bone, reverse spraying blood against the walls. The Zephyrite was thrown out onto the roof. Renee took one last look at the carnage as she slid down the roof tiles and into the rain.

The thunderstorm had brightened Nos's mood, if that was possible. He was already having the best night of his life. Everything was going well, even if the plan had fallen apart. The vampire was about to have the revenge he had sorely wanted for so long. Soon he would take wirewolf as well, and all thanks to that hospitable little girl Renee.
"Uh, hello?" XR looked annoyed. "You gonna let me go or not?"
"Of course not, Little One!" Nos smirked. "The dark master does not give second chances." He prepared to dig in but was distracted by the screams across the roof. There was a flash and another scream and a mess went flying onto the roof out of a tiny room had been ripped apart.
"What on earth…" He recognized Renee's scream. "Good lord." Nos looked at XR angrily and threw him off the roof. He tumbled downward and dropped off the edge. The bot forgot to open his jetpack and there was a satisfying sound of shattering glass.
XR shrieked. "My head! Put my head on my body!" It was pleasing enough until he could come back and finish the kill. Nos flew across the roof. The inside of the room had been absolutely destroyed. Blood that looked black in the darkness had been splattered around, mixed in with jellied gore. It looked like someone had just gone through a food processor. At first he thought it was the girl's remains, but a piece of large red furry ear that had been stuck to the wall with blood banished the suspicion. Thunder cracked behind him. It was determined that this wasn't her… so where was she? There was another scream and Nos spotted her hanging desperately onto a broken shingle at the roof's edge.
"Nos, please! Help me!" She whimpered brokenly. There was hardly enough strength left for her to keep hold. Her wet paws slipped off and she disappeared over the edge. The vampire rushed to her rescue, barely managing to swoop and catch her out of the forty foot drop. She was covered with gore, but this was her own. His hand, the one cushioning the back of her head imperticular, was covered with blood and rain. One eye was only a few shreds of meat on an ugly hole. Her fur was matted with it too.
"Just what did you do to yourself?" He nearly gagged. There was something else other than disgust in his voice, though. Sympathy. Maybe regret. He felt bad that she had been injured so badly. The vampire took it into consolation that she might die; certainly would have if he hadn't been here.
Her head lolled over, escaping the pain in unconsciousness. He delivered her gently onto the ground in front of the entrance just as one powerful ranger kicked down the door. Nos turned and, to save his reputation, hissed before darting away. People crowded out and around the injured girl.

Buzz ran toward the stage to herd the last people out and stop Ty if he had to. Mira and Booster followed a little hesitantly. Wirewolf howled backstage and a girl cried out, more in fear than pain. Both the Gummers had squabbled up to the catwalk and kicked away the ladder. Agatha's ankle was bleeding and broken. Bo had a deep set of scratches along his back. Wirewolf was curled in a ball, choking and gagging on something. It was obscuring his airway.
"We've got to help him!" Mira stepped forward, but backed off when he growled at her defensively. "Buzz, what can we do?"
"I don't know!" Lightyear yelled back. He really hadn't the slightest idea how to handle this. About then there was a plop kind of noise and a little green rock came flying out of the wirewolf's windpipe. It hit Booster squarely between the eyes. Mira took aim and blasted it to pieces.
"Ty?" The question hung in the air on tension itself. Some doubted if it would ever get a response.
"Guys?" Ty looked up, gasping, as the change finished going into its last reverse stages. They had all seen how painful it was. Other than that, the reply sent them screaming with joy. "I didn't…kill anyone, did I?"
"Don't worry about it, buddy. Let's get these kids to a hospital. how about that?"
