Just experimenting with environments. I've been toying with the concept of borrowers who live in the desert that trap and kill humans using deadly poison/venom from scorpions they raise. They bury the corpses in the sand to let ants and beetles strip their bones clean so they can turn their skeletons into new homes, adding to their sprawling towns/villages of bones with effigies acting as a grisly warning for anyone foolish enough to get too close.
