i have a wingless dragon oc, so i thought i'd finally refine the idea of their mechanical wings. at first i was kinda planning on making it 100% controllable by the dragon, but after a few days of trying and failing to basically invent mechanical wings, i just went with the idea that the wings were "alive", similar to doctor strange's cape. but of course, the wood and metal can't bend; there's still working joints and usable extensions for the wings.
