I am simply curious, but have are things like these made? I see it has fur, of course, and I suspect it is painted by hand. And I think the eyes might be glass or plastic. But I wonder, what material is the inside of this?

Nope! Masks are first sculpted from clay, then molded, then resin is used in the mold. The mask is rigged, cut, dremeled, has teeth and eyes placed, furred, airbrushed and viola!
