Made this at the request of my Aunt and Grandma, who are very liberal Indians.

made with the intention of printing as a poster.

Not really an Alternate History map but should not be used as an historical guide, and includes a number of things like made up borders and "states" that did not exist simultaneously.

Indic Civilization is probably a bit too strong a term for a lot of these regions and I understand if you get nervous greater India vibes.

I have used mythological names for the seas, though they may be a bit off and I had to improvise for the south china sea for which I could not find a name in Indian Folklore.

little 'Om' Symbols represent Hindu Holy/Pilgrimage Sites and Temples.

I think the water colour effect worked out quite well here but do tell me if I'm wrong.

I have used textures that I do not own the license to.
