anyway Axo are a closed species

Summary
Our shadows are the parts of ourself that are in ‘Darkness’ These parts of ‘darkness’ are the fear, pain, and powerlessness we have trapped within us..It’s when we are acting unconsciously it means there is a force running our life which we feel powerless to authentically overcome. This is the best indication there are unconscious shadows within – when you have thoughts, emotions, addictions, reactions and compulsions that overtake you. Its these shadows that these being feed on.
They eat for their own existence. The less they eat they will shrink, aging backwards till they no longer exist. Gluttony can kill them.
The smaller they get the little emotion they show or sometimes even forget. Sometimes some enjoy not having so much emotions overwhelming them so they feed a little at a time.
They leave the waters usually at night and sneak into peoples homes feeding on a persons shadow (the shadow is like a dark aura that surrounds a person) they will even attack a person who walks the streets at night, but usually the victim doesn't remember.

HOW THEY ARE BORN
These beings are formed from a certain emotion, most of the time negative but sometimes positive. These beings feed on the emotion they are composed of either by finding someones who is admitting it or inducing it into someone. They are born by emotion in location basically before becoming these things they are an atmosphere of a location. (Atmospheres are areas where an emotion was commonly used by a person or persons thus leaving a presence of that emotion) eventually these atmospheres become so dense with an emotion that a cloud of emotion forms, and thus an Axo is formed.
They start off a centipede like creatures that travel to find the waters. The journey is rough considering their size. They are nothing more than babies. They learn that land is dangerous and is why they travel to the waters. Once there they begin to take on a new form.

Physical

Underbelly
Their spine is visible through their underbelly, protected by a transparents shell. When they leave the water certain ribs extend out and become their legs so that they may travel on land and feed.

Antenna
Axo’s are equipped with two feathery antennae on their head, and they use these to hear. the antennae filaments are tuned, and adjusted to various frequencies and sound levels.

Second Antenna
Helps them to see shadows

Feathery Gills
Their gills are located along their ribs. They use them to breath when in their serpent form and becomes useless when in their centipede form.

Ribbon/Fur Lining
Jelly like flaps the run along the sides of their bodies help with their flow of movement through the water. They can also glow. When in their centipede form the ribbon is replaced with fur so that their bodies can adjust from being in the water most of the day.
Genderless
They are born genderless even if some seem manly or feminine in their appearance.
