Description
To celebrate my end-of-school, let me share with you guys something I've been holding out on since....some time last year. lol.I did another hand tutorial because the people at Womanthology wanted me to expand on my first tutorial I had on dA.
I hope this helps some of you. Again, like I said before, just keep drawing and don't ever hide the hands intentionally just because you're having trouble drawing them!
This was done for Womanthology

Thank you very much.:]
I've familiarized the hand structure and the rest of the bodies which makes drawing humans my specialty.
Drawing hands is not much a drag for me but I've been having a hard time drawing hands with dramatic positions because I've been focusing allot in drawing the details rather than sketching the basics first. Your tips helped allot. And once again, thank you...^v^

I really like the "break it down to simple structures" idea... it's a lot more helpful (to me) than cylinders and spheres.

xDD; yah, same. I never quite grasped the cylinders and spheres thing. Every time I tried it back when I was trying to get into an animation program, everything that came out of it looked extremely stiff and...well, i was just unhappy with it. I felt doing shapes in bulks first felt a lot more natural to me xD;

I like using general shapes because I can build gestures more fluidly. My hands always look stiff when I try to use cylinders or skeletons.
