An idea I've had since maybe around 2010? Although the initial idea was a cat-boy...but I think I prefer the cat : ). recently I've been remembering a lot of old ideas I've had so I'll be going through them xD.
Story completely open to interpretation.

Wow, I must congratulate you on your brush strokes, particularly on the cat but also the scales of the goldfish and the mermaid. You've also fit the mermaid in very well she stands out very well without looking chromatically opposed to the goldfish themselves.

I can't get enough of your colouring, I keep referencing to your brush settings tutorial but I can't get the same amazing brush effect as you do. Probably just on my end

Wonderful! I love the story here. The one thing that I do not understand is the sudden change in water color, starting from the upper quarter of her tail fin and swinging up to just inside the edge of the bowl. Why the color change?
