i actually edited the face and according to some suggestions, added the smoke to his cigarete ^^~
I never mentioned this before, but for those who watch me, he's Sky's older brother.....^^~ His name is Hei. it means Black in chinese ^^~.

oh gee! I work in painter and every time I do try to use the airbrush it just doesn't seem to do the job- I changed the spacing and the opacity. still no result. must be something I'm doing wrong. Or the layers.
And the lines at the top- thought It was a song ^_'^. musta been something else ^_'^ Oh well XD

uh...i always use 100 opacity. well...unless it's for something like the cigarete smoke ^^~ oh, i forgot to add that i also use the just-add-water brush. maybe...how many layers do you usually use? O.o;

not a lot- my CPU is a bit old so i try to limit. And I never tried the add water brush! Damn! that may have been it. I tend to use no more than 8 layers max. That's not enough is it T_T? meh- I feel like such a n00b ^_'^

no, not at all~! i was gonna say dont use too many layers xD;~ i'd suggest you practice with pencils first though (i took a look at your gallery, and it seems that you need a bit more shading practice

yeah- I get really cheesed off with myself when I can't get things right in painter. this is probably because I'm either too lazy or too inexperienced. Thing is that when i pain with something like watercolour or acrylic the shading and tones come much easier, but when I do it digitally I just can't place it. nothing looks right, it's really quite irritating actually.
And thank you so much for the advice- I really appreciate (and need) it.

big big resolution. at least 2000x2000px. then when you scale it down it looks smooth (but in fact if you zoom in the original, it'd be really messy "orz...) xD;

the size of the guns inside the case are wrong, how can i put it, they sure are bigger than that. you cant for instance carry a scope rifle inside a case, its way too big.
either way its a fine draw
