My daily sketches on tumblr .oh goodness, I have a new OC that I can't seem to stop drawing for some reason. that hasn't happened in years. I still haven't named her properly yet though....i can't seem to think of a good name for her other than "tree" lol....any suggestions? I'll be posting more of her so...yes -v-;~

This piece almost makes you feel like the tree on top of her head is almost like a little waterfall because her hair also shows some weight added to it. I enjoyed the portrayal of it overall. Simple but has depth in concept. Great work. (=
Thinking of tree is a good lead for names.
I think a simple name could be Amber (because amber itself comes from trees, she has a red-ish tint from her hair and eyes, and it sounds close to the word "arbor")
This is just my input though, but I feel that sometimes simple names are best. (:

She makes me think of a dryad, a nymph of the woods, so maybe you came name her after a dryad name, such as (according to wikipedia) :

Such an exquisite drawing, and you're in luck, there are loads of tree-related names. What about Rowan, or Holly? There's also Ilana, which is Hebrew for tree, or Pomona, which is the Roman goddess of fruit trees. You could also try looking at this site [link] for more names.

You could check out other languages and see what "tree" is in those languages. Also, I'd like to suggest Nymph, or even better, Nymf.

So gorgeous!! What kind of theme are you thinking? Since you said tree, do you want it to be more natural/nymph like? She reminds me of a nymph or dryad - something mythological & sort of far away. Mirinna or Lioona .... Idk haha but she is beautiful ^^

hm, maybe something like that. I don't want her to be completely unchangeable in design though; I'm seeing her design as something very flexible but the more noticeable feature is that her hair is sort of branches. those names sound nice

I might think about that, actually xDD; so far the only suggestion I liked from peeps on tumblr in english are "willow", but I dunno, sounds too literal...although tree is also very very literal. hahahaha;;;. I feel like the more I call her tree, the more she'll be stuck being "tree" in my head =w=;;;
