'Suicide doesn't end the pain, it just passes it on'
I unfortunately have been to three funerals in my lifetime that have been a result of suicide, with two of them being High School classmates. But this third and most recent one was someone who I saw on a weekly basis, and man it hit me hard.

I wanted to convey the idea of the 'burning' thoughts that a person must experience when contemplating to take their own life. I used a cardboard box because they are fragile and not very resistant to outside forces. The model is digging their own grave literally, and the broken shovel in front of the hole represents how some people fail to take their own lives at first.
I wish I was better with words, because maybe someone is reading this that has or is contemplating...but PLEASE don't. Talk to someone, talk to someone, talk to someone, talk to someone, talk to someone. PLEASE.
