Another (14th) prompt of Man After March I had done a while ago, featuring other colonial-descended organisms. Some took form of plants, forming simbyosis with photosynthetic organisms, some became fungi, becoming the soil all of organisms stand on, and some collided into forms which look like earthly animals -- a distorted memory that made its way into their by-now hydra-like nervous systems.
