At first I thought it was someone nervously fiddling with a scarf (I was ready to suggest an animated version with darting eye movements and frantic breathing), then I noticed the tags and realized the scarf is a hand. Needless to say, that drastically changes the emotions conveyed through the expression, looking away as opposed to around. It lends it an even greater ambiguity and mystery than a mere lurking sense of unease.
