This would be my first attempt to draw people's faces, however it was copied from a magazine ad.

*note: copied does not imply TRACED. People who employ this technique are devoid of all creative ability.

This was actually my first ever portrait and I did it in ninth grade with a mechanical pencil and finger blending; honestly it supprised the hell out of me and was likely THE catalyst for my foray into the world of fine art. Were it not for this picture, which is now lost along with my other, best high school portrait, I'd still be hobby drawing comic book guys with balloon muscles today, if at all.
